From leisurely hikes to challenging summit tours:

Let a guide show you the most beautiful spots of the Tyrolean Alps. All our guests at the Villa Strolz have the opportunity to go on a professionally guided hike on either gentle hikes or more challenging alpine tours.

Monday to Friday: Guided children's and family adventure hikes as well as summit tours are included in our regular weekly programme. Follow the most beautiful trails and gain some local knowledge of our region without worrying about the planning, organising, or time management. We are happy to take you on wonderful and safe hiking adventures for a care-free summer holiday.

Especially popular with children and youths:

Climbing taster courses, mountain adventures at the waterfalls, adventure camps, and pirates' days, and so much more awaits all young guests!

Boat round- trip:

One of the special highlights of a summer holiday here with us is a free boat round-trip at the Heiterwanger- and Plansee lake. (Available for guestst staying 7 nights or more.)

Enjoy the beautiful alpine landscape from a new vantagepoint. The trip starts at the dock Fischer am See, then to the Seespitze, to the Hotel Forelle at the other end of the lake, and then you return to the starting-off point. The interconnected lakes Heiterwang and Plansee are idyllic alpine lakes that offer a beautiful setting and tranquil environment. The crystal-clear water is is as clean as drinking-water, and on hot days guests can jump in for a refreshing swim. There are further activities available at the lakes, such as sailing, windsurfing, and rowing in boats, which are available for rent at the shores.

Cycling and mountain biking:

The Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena was voted as the best mountain biking region in Austria in 2005 and 2006 by readers of the "Mountainbike" magazine.

There are many tours available here, ranging from easy family-friendly tours to challenging summit trails. We are happy to give you some informational material for your biking adventure.

Our neighbouring village of Bichlbach is also an excellent starting-off point for many different biking tours. Tours include leisurely rides to the Heiterwanger lake, to the Ehrenberg ruin, or tours for tuff mountain bikers to stunning destinations such as the Ehrwalder Alm.

There are so many exciting options available here. Maybe end your day with a game of tennis, a round of miniature golf, or take in the impressive views of the Zugspitze as the sun sets. On hot days, nothing beats a refreshing dip in the cool water of the natural swimming lake in Bichlbach 26°), or the idyllic forest swimming pool in Berwang, which allows guests with the family-pass free entrance. The "Kinderland" in the same area is always a highlight for children due to the charming children's playground including a bouncy castle.
